Favorite Activity

My favorite activity we have done this year has got to be when we did the podcasts. We got into small groups and recorded ourselves talking about a similar topic. For example my group spoke about ghosts stories and peoples main opinions. Also, we had some interesting facts about them. After we got done recording ourselves we got to add some music in the background to put a special affect. I think it made ours sound a bit scarier, the beginning would automatically interest you in due to the music. When the class was all finished with the podcasts we got to listen to them as a class. It was really fun to do but every now and then tricky. We did have some problems with some things like our volume but in the end before the due date we figured it out. (:

Most Unreasonable

I picked this picture for the most unreasonable for the story The Monsters Are Due on Maple Street because in the story the guys always try blaming someone else when really none of the guys are to be blamed. Blaming others for something is not the way to go, even if you really didn't do whatever is being said. In this case Charlie blames the little boy Tommy for being the alien so everyone would go after him. What kind of adult would go that low to blame a child? Obviously one who in my opinion isn't as mature as he thinks. Blaming others is just unreasonable, so that's why I ended up with this picture. Three unreasonable guys.

Most Mature (:

In the story The Monsters Are Due on Maple Street I think that Tommy is probably the most mature one. The reason I say Tommy is because he never actually accused anyone of being the "monster" when everyone else in the story was arguing about it. Tommy just tried warning people about what he has read in books about aliens. He wanted everyone to stay put because from what he has read that is what the aliens wanted. Instead of listening to Tommy, Charlie ended up killing Pete which was a neighborhood friend because they are worrying about him being an alien coming over the hill.
